Lake fishing: There are more than 17,000 lakes in the county of Jämtland Härjedalen. These include calm waters, tarns, smaller and larger lakes, and the largest lake is Storjsön lake, at 464 square kilometres. Fish from land, rent a boat or join a trolling tour.

Mountain fishing: There is a large choice of mountain waters for fishing, some with easy access and some further off the beaten track. There is even the possibility to join a guide for an exclusive visit to waters that are not open to the public. Stay comfortably at one of the fishing camps in the mountains with fishing waters close by. If you don’t want to hike into the mountains yourself, flying is an option.
