The county of Jämtland corresponds to 12 percent of the surface area of Sweden and is the third largest county by surface area. In the county of Jämtland Härjedalen there are more than 17 000 lakes and tarns and 2,800 kms of rivers and streams. Water is therefore one of the region’s great natural resources which obviously makes fishing a natural part of the outdoor activities offered in the area. In our Google map below we present our members’ Fishing Conservation areas, Accommodation & Services as well as the municipalities of Jämtland Härjedalen.
